Built in 1898, Urban Cowboy Lodge & Resort is nestled in a valley the heart of the Catskill mountains, with a river running right through it. Two and a half hours from New York City, but a world away.

This isn’t just a hotel. It’s a 200-acre Catskills resort made for soaking, swimming, sweating, wandering, playing, gathering, and doing absolutely nothing when the mood strikes.
Start with our signature indoor and outdoor soaking tub suites, the Estonian sauna, pool, and creekside swimming hole. Add tennis, bowling, shuffle board, hiking trails, and a treenet suspended 40 feet in the air.

Here you’ll find 42 rooms across 13 buildings, each with its own name, its own look, and its own way of making the rest of the world fade away. Some rooms have indoor clawfoot tubs, some have outdoor cedar soaking tubs, but all rooms are uniquely-designed by Cowboy Creative.
No two stays are exactly the same. The only hard part is choosing your kind of escape.

At the Lodge, we take food and drink very seriously. So seriously, we created three separate epicurean experiences.
Whatever mood you’re in, we’ve got a place for it. Join us in the Dining Room for a chef-driven meal, kick back with a cocktail in the Parlor Bar, or head down to Ralph’s Bar and Bowling for wood-fired pizza and craft beer.

Urban Cowboy Lodge offers a variety of amenities including indoor classic cowboy clawfoot tubs and japanese cedar soaking tubs, an Estonian sauna, a seasonal pool, a tennis court, two tree nets, billiards tables, classic arcade games, and miles of hiking trails. Guests can also enjoy dining at The Dining Room, Ralph’s Bar & Bowling, and participate in various events and activities. Guests can enjoy minibars (or “not-so-mini-bars”) filled with our favorite local items, drinks and snacks or purchase supplies from one of our two 24-hour canteen stores. Guests can also book a massage based on availability.
